03 · DESCRIPTION

Purpose and operating principle

Indirect (closed) scheme: the primary circuit (district network) and the secondary circuit (the building's internal system) are hydraulically separated by a plate heat exchanger. This delivers hydraulic isolation, protects the secondary loop from contaminants in the network water and allows the building to maintain its own pressure regime. Heating is weather-compensated, regulated by outdoor air temperature. Circulation-pump control is on/off, variable-frequency, or variable-frequency per pump (VFD-per-pump).
